Green Score’s purpose is to reduce the average person’s ecological footprint by combatting their overuse of water and transportation emissions. The younger generations are going to have to live in our currently polluted world and therefore must be proactive in helping facilitate change in the environment to create a more sustainable Earth. By taking environmentally friendly actions, the user’s “Green Score,” a measure of their eco-friendliness, increases. Our app promotes green habits through daily challenges, spreads awareness about pressing environmental issues through our trivia section, and encourages healthy competition between friends to be more aware of the environment.
